Start with your Shopify store. Review the facts. Decide which cases should proceed. Connecting alone sends no customer messages and creates no payment requests.
Connect Shopify without remembering your store URL
Create your workspace with Google or an email sign-in link. Install or open Chargeback Recovery from Shopify, choose your store and use Open website workspace to confirm access. Each store requires its own authorization.
Sync Shopify Payments chargebacks through the installed app. Then use the website to see the imported disputed value and open the shared case list. That value describes the original disputes; it is not a forecast of recoverable money.
Give every lost Shopify chargeback a proper review
A delivery scan and a lost dispute are starting facts, not a decision to request payment. Check the order, customer, reason for the dispute, refunds, returns and remaining balance before proceeding. Some cases should be excluded or closed.
Organize the shared records into To review, Prepared, Submitted and Excluded. These are your recovery workflow groups, separate from the bank’s chargeback status.
- Review the original order and delivery evidence.
- Resolve customer concerns, return requests and refund differences.
- Preview the recipient, message and payment details before approving a request.
Recovery after a loss is different from winning a dispute
Commerce Recovery does not overturn an issuer’s decision. It helps you organize an appropriate next step after reviewing a lost chargeback. A product-not-received case, a genuine unauthorized payment and a refund dispute need different consideration.
Shopify is available now. Other provider integrations are coming soon. You do not need a CSV import to start the Shopify workflow.

Provider guidance can change. Check the original Shopify record for the current status and available actions. This page explains the product workflow; it does not determine whether a customer legally owes money.
